Anonymous surfing – SaferSurf wins test

The name "SaferSurf" stands for an online offer of the Nutzwerk company. For a small fee you may use a SaferSurf server as intermediate station. When you surf the internet the owner of a web page can only see the address of the SaferSurf server – your own PC remains incognito. Of course Nutzwerk can see which pages you visited. However, they are not allowed to pass on any information. In spite of a few shortcomings the SaferSurf service is the clear winner in this test – their competitors are even worse.


SaferSurf - the washing machine for the internet Advantages:

  • Reliable anonymization
  • Works with all common internet browsers
  • Offers additional filter for web page contents
Disadvantages:
  • Always uses the same proxy server
