Security Experts Recommend SaferSurf
Rokop Security is impressed by automatic virus protection

A few days after the official start of SaferSurf already more than 1000 users tested the new security solution. Among them renowned security experts like Mr Roman Kopecny of Ropok Security. He summarized his impression of SaferSurf in an eMail.

Mr Kopecny wrote: "I'm not quite finished with my tests, but so far I'm totally impressed with the email protection. I have sent a lot of viruses, worms and trojans, among them rarities and handmade specimen. The email protection identified all viruses without exception. As a crosscheck I even sent a few files that look like malware but actually are not. Even this was identified correctly."

Apart from Rokop Security the provider of the online services against computer fraud (www.computerbetrug.de and www.dialerhilfe.de), Mr Heiko Rittelmeier, permanently uses SaferSurf and tests new functionalities. Mr Rittelmeier has been incorporated by Nutzwerk as a higher authority on the quality assurance.

The online services www.computerbetrug.de and www.dialerhilfe.de are projects of the interest group Deutsches Internet e.V. (IDI) in Munich, whose objective it is to prevent criminal offences in the internet by means of free user education.

With SaferSurf the Nutzwerk company offers internet users a new kind of service. SaferSurf reliably removes ad banners, viruses and advertisements directly from the data stream. SaferSurf checks all incoming data in real-time and only passes on "clean" bits and bytes. SaferSurf automatically takes care of the updates. Nothing has to be installed. The user registers with SaferSurf and gets his access data. Then he simply changes the internet browser settings to SaferSurf. Done. There is even an automatic setup for the Internet Explorer and the eMail program Outlook.
